Access music and video on your home PC from anywhere
ZumoCast turns your computer into a personal multimedia server you can access anytime, anywhere.
All you need to do is create a ZumoCast account and install the desktop client on the computer that’s going to work as server. Then install the app for iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad and start enjoying your favorite music, videos and photos on the spot. You can also access ZumoCast's shared content via a web browser.
ZumoCast doesn’t require any previous syncing or conversion, and it's really easy to use. Simply log in to the system with your username and password and all your shared files will be right there. It’s also a great way to keep important documents always at hand – whether you’re at home, at the office or commuting.
The interface in ZumoCast is clear and easy to use, in all the versions we tried: web, desktop app and iPhone app. On the downside, we were a bit concerned about privacy, as the program has no security options. We just couldn’t help thinking if all those shared files would be safe there.
Nevertheless ZumoCast is an amazing tool with which you can access media files and documents from anywhere.

Changed my settings without permission.
I don't know how ZumoCast works - I probably won't be using it. I am peeved at Softonic - during the installation they changed my browser home page to MSN and changed my default search engine to Bing. They also wanted to install some other add-on, which I declined. Changing people's software without asking is very poor form - a form of malware, as far as I'm concerned. More

STELLAR!!!.
I can access all my photos, videos, and movies on my Mac or Windows machines. This makes my iPhone and iPad have the equivalent of about 40 terabytes of media access anywhere I have either WiFi or cell phone service. setup involvedentering a gmail account, setting a password, and chosing the folders I want to access on the computers. This took about 2 minute.... cuz I'm slow.
If I want I can download instead of stream.
It's free. If you don't at least try it you are missing a great tool.
Music has about 1 second of caching before it starts. Hi Def movies buffer for more like 20 seconds.
What a great idea More
